Jason Morehead writes about how creating ultra-violent videogames affects the developers of those games. It’s a response to a pretty eye-opening piece from Kotaku about how developers of games like Mortal Kombat 11 can develop PTSD from the meticulous crafting of violent scenes and constant exposure to graphic reference materials.

No one is forcing these game developers to take these jobs, but nevertheless, the impact the process has on them in order to create ever more violent content, to satiate the basest desires of the consumer, seems incredibly exploitive.
